This heart-warming musical piece narrates the sorrowful and tragic tale of Odette who was turned from a princess into a swan by the curse of some sinister sorcerer. The ballet was composed in 1876 and was first premiered in 1877 in the city of Moscow. This orchestral symphony is divine to hear. Written in Russian, the melody has some conversational and metaphorical lyrics.
